This organization wants to help homeless men get permanent living quarters as well as work. While they are waiting for the transition, they stay in churches for shelter. You can help get involved in this by making/serving meals to the men when they stay at our church one month each year.

Grace is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).The ELCA is a community of faith that shares a passion for making positive changes in the world. Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith, grow our relationship with God and experience God's grace in our lives.

A program similar to Congregations for the Homeless only for women instead of men. We provide meals for these women on various weekends at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, where they are housed. We also support them by donating money and household items as they successfully move to independence.

If you enjoy quilting, you should join our group of quilters. They make quilts for people in need. They also make quilts for graduating high school seniors. It is a good way to pass the time, help out people, and make some friends in the church community. The quilters meet on Wednesdays at 10 am (check church calendar for full details). Projects include:

·         Quilts for the Compass Center

·         Quilts for graduating high school students leaving home to go to college
